A number of important improvements have been made on the Z-Series:

• Improved Transmission – Greatly reduces noise & maintenance with high reliability
• Anti-Rollback System – Safely travel up and down ramps without concern over losing control or power
• High Visibility Mast – Excellent view through the mast due to hidden hoses and cylinders
• Better Steering – The rear axle has been re-designed allowing the wheels to turn up to 85 degrees
• Increased Braking Ability – The brake pedal arm has been extended for greater force and the pump increased in size for nearly double the braking ability.
• Hidden Tilt Cylinders – Frequently requested to avoid marring from chains, over-spray, & debris
• Side Battery Access – Improves the ability to remove or exchange the battery without a crane
• Superior Ergonomics – Seating, steering, & controls have all been redesigned to provide more comfortable & efficient operation
• IP54 Rated Water & Dust Protection – The truck is now mostly protected from oil, water, & dust ingress

When turning, if one wheel is going forward, the
other wheel is directed to reverse. This greatly
reduces the stress of turning on the forklift.

Hidden Tilt Cylinders

enclose the tilt cylinder and reduce rod scoring

Standard 6 Roller Fork Carriage
All Z-Series mast assemblies offer a 6-roller
carriage for smooth operation, and a standard 48-inch
(1220mm) high-load bracket for increased load control
and operator safety, even at full capacity.

 

Tight Steering Hydraulic Steer Axle
The Z-Series Hydraulic Steer Axle enables very
tight steering angles (up to 85 degrees) resulting in
great maneuverability and responsiveness. This
design delivers exceptional durability and reduced
maintenance when compared to traditional
steering linkages.
