We’re proud to introduce Tailift’s (a division of Toyota Material Handling) newest line of lifts with manufacturing oversight straight from Toyota.  The new line builds on the high performance, fuel efficiency, & low emission of the 9L series and then refines it.

A number of important improvements have been made on the Z-Series:

• New Nissan K25 engines (RECENTLY UPDATED TO KUBOTA WG2503) – Introduced for lower emissions and better reliability
• Transmission Suspension – Greatly reduces noise & vibrations (down to 79db)
• High Visibility Mast – Significantly better view through the mast due to hidden hoses and cylinders
• Better Steering – The rear axle has been re-designed allowing the wheels to turn up to 85 degrees
• Greater Lift Speed – Lift speed is notably quicker
• Hidden Tilt Cylinders – Frequently requested to avoid marring from chains, over-spray, & debris
• Better Brakes – The brake system has been moved to an oil-immersed design for better performance and higher reliability (up to 8000 hours)
• Superior Ergonomics – Seating, steering, & controls have all been redesigned to provide more comfortable & efficient operation

NEW Wide View Mast
Using hidden hose design, rear mounted rollers,
and rear mounted cylinders, the new wide view
mast affords excellent visibility of the load and the
forks.

Electronic F/R Control Lever 
The Forward/Reverse Control Lever is located just
below the steering wheel for quick and convenient
directional changes. Fingertip control of the
transmission reduces operator fatigue, and leads to
more efficient operation.

Multifunction Instrument Panel
The panel provides the critical information required
to ensure operator safety, and indicate maintenance
requirements.

Tilt Steering column
Tilt Steering provides flexibility and operator
ergonomics, allowing for adjustments to create a

 Integrated Heavy Duty Overhead Guard
Not just a bolt-on afterthought, the Integrated Overhead Guard is designed right into the chassis, providing optimal protection for your operators.
As an integral part of the truck, the overhead guard increases the overall strength of the chassis for durability, even when operating on uneven or bumpy surfaces.

 Hidden Tilt Cylinders
Standard on all models, Hidden Tilt Cylinders
 enclose the tilt cylinder and reduce rod scoring
from dirt and grit, which can cause hydraulic
leaks.

Tough Transmissions
Tailift Transmissions are engineered using
advanced hydro-dynamics for precision,
performance and smoothness, improving operator efficiency.

Z-Series trucks utilize a single-speed
transmission in all 1.5-3.0 ton models and a
two-speed forward/reverse transmission in all
4.0-5.0 ton models, ensuring enough power for even the toughest applications.

Standard 6 Roller Fork Carriage
All Z-Series mast assemblies offer a 6-roller
carriage for smooth operation, and a standard 48-inch
(1220mm) high-load bracket for increased load control
and operator safety, even at full capacity.

 Tight Steering Hydraulic Steer Axle
The Z-Series Hydraulic Steer Axle enables very
tight steering angles (up to 85 degrees) resulting in
great maneuverability and responsiveness. This
design delivers exceptional durability and reduced
maintenance when compared to traditional
steering linkages.
